- 12-month free services include virtual machines, managed disks, databases, and networking tools like Load Balancer. For example, you can run Windows Virtual Machines for up to 750 hours per month or use Azure SQL Database with 250 GB of storage.
- Always free services provide ongoing access to tools such as Azure Functions (1 million requests per month), Blob Storage (5 GB), and DevTest Labs for developers. Other options include Event Grid for event delivery (100,000 operations per month) and AI tools like Face API, which allows 30,000 transactions per month.
After the 30-day period, if you exceed the free limits, you will be billed based on pay-as-you-go pricing, but you can continue using free-tier services​.
