Croatian Adtech Startup AEOS Secures €10 Million in Series B Funding

Croatian adtech startup All Eyes On Screens (AEOS), previously known as AdScanner, has announced a successful Series B funding round, securing approximately €10 million. The funding, which was led by Taiwania Capital, also saw participation from existing investors Lead Ventures, J&T Ventures, and South Central Ventures.

AEOS is revolutionizing the TV and video advertising landscape through its innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI). The company’s platform harnesses audience data from millions of households, allowing advertisers to more effectively target their campaigns and monitor performance across various devices. Key products such as Cockpit, TV BOOST, and Apollo provide smarter audience measurement and enhanced ad performance tracking, utilizing anonymized data from telecom companies and over-the-top (OTT) streaming services.

“We are very happy to welcome Taiwania Capital on board, alongside our existing investors, to support us in bringing our benefits to even more advertisers worldwide,” stated Marin Curkovic, CEO and co-founder of AEOS, in a LinkedIn post.

With operations currently spanning Croatia, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, and Switzerland, AEOS is poised for expansion into Southeastern and Western Europe, now equipped with this latest influx of funding.

The Croatian tech ecosystem continues to thrive, with the ICT sector contributing about 6% to the country’s GDP. Notable success stories include Infobip, the first Croatian tech unicorn and a global leader in cloud communications, as well as startups like Gideon Brothers, known for their AI-driven autonomous mobile robots, and PhotoMath, which is in the process of being acquired by Google.

In addition, the innovative startup Rearm, based in Skabrnja, is set to launch a platform for automatic business application creation targeted at non-programmers in the first quarter of 2024, showcasing the diversity and potential of Croatia’s tech scene.
