Cielo has reimagined tech-enabled RPO with their next evolution of Cielo TalentCloud

Cielo, the world’s leading strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider, has reimagined tech-enabled RPO with their next evolution of Cielo TalentCloud, a flexible platform designed to deliver great experiences, elevate meaningful insights, and accelerate recruiting performance. Most talent acquisition functions have made at least one technology purchase in the past two years. But two out of five companies are either dissatisfied or indifferent to their current provider, finds Aptitude Research. The future of recruitment abandons the current state of point solutions and unintegrated data that degrades experience, challenges compliance, and prevents predictability in the recruitment process. However, there is not one applicant tracking system (ATS) or candidate relationship management system (CRM) in the market today that can cover the end-to-end process and capture all the innovation within point solutions. This is why RPO’s future technology model is a seamless, integrated digital ecosystem, according to the Everest Group. Cielo TalentCloud makes that a reality through an optimal combination of technology, people and processes.

Data Analytics: Cloud facilities often have better Security because that’s their Core Business

Regardless of whether on-premises or a cloud-solution hosted by a third party, the costs of managing immense quantities of data are equally immense. There are big benefits to sharing data across the various places a device has been manufactured, as well as their behavior in the field. To reap that benefit data needs to be uploaded to a central place, and cloud companies have the most up-to-date infrastructure and lowest latency. While many companies believe that it’s better to physically control data on-site, the reality is that cloud facilities often have better security because that’s their core business.

IDC Forecast: Cloud Computing could Prevent Emission of Over 1 Billion Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide from 2021 through 2024

According to a new forecast from IDC, the continued adoption of cloud computing could prevent the emission of more than 1 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) from 2021 through 2024. A key factor in reducing the CO2 emissions associated with cloud computing comes from the greater efficiency of aggregated compute resources. The emissions reductions are driven by the aggregation of computation from discrete enterprise data centers to larger-scale centers that can more efficiently manage power capacity, optimize cooling, leverage the most power-efficient servers and increase server utilization rates. The forecast uses IDC data on server distribution and cloud and on-premises software use along with third-party information on data center power usage, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per kilowatt-hour, and emission comparisons of cloud and non-cloud data centers.
